Multi-tools are just about everywhere you look now-a-days. It seems as if a new one is popping up out of the woodwork seemingly every other week. Some of them make a case for investing in while others, not so much. Fact is, at some point or another you just might need one of these nifty little pieces of gear to get you through a not so friendly situation. Prepare as you may, nothing can prepare you for the unexpected, especially when it comes to time in the outdoors. So if you do find yourself in a jam during a short vacation into the wilderness, Bomber & Company‘s new B-2 Nano Blade will almost certainly come in handy.
Sure, you probably have a few things laying around the house that could somewhat pass for survival gear, but trust us, they don’t compare to this gem. Equipped with a bold military design and aesthetic, the B-2 Nano Blade packs a big punch for its relatively small size. Of course the highlight is the blade itself. It sports a “Great American Tooth” pattern which is found in traditional crosscut tree saws, so getting through a tough cut of wood isn’t a problem. Likewise, the perforated blade is designed specifically so whatever you find yourself cutting won’t get stuck on the blade.
Aside from being absolutely stunning to look at, one of its most obvious and undeniable features is its concealable size. Fully opened length it’s only 80mm and when closed, it stands at 48mm in length, 20mm in width (closed) and only 5mm thick. And, it weighs in at less than 1oz making it the world’s lightest, fully functional, tactical pocket knife on the planet. Constructed from 440C black stainless steel and rated at 58-60HRC, the B-2 Nano Blade is as tough as they come and will last longer than any other knife in its class.
Last but not least is the issue of safety. Much like all sharp objects, you’re going to want to make sure the kids can’t get a hold of it, or even yourself at the wrong time for that matter. With that in mind, the B-2 Nano Blade has a series of safety measures in place to avoid any mishaps. It features a locking a folding system which makes the knife ideal for beginners as well as intermediate knife experts. And, rather than a push button, it has a lever lock, so when the blade is open it “snaps” into place making sure it doesn’t close while in use. Once closed, you can rest assured it won’t pop open accidentally.
