Inspired by the minimalist styles of the 1990s, this season introduces new frames in classic hues such as slate gray and slate blue. Also brand new to this season is the Clark, a rounded rectangle shape crafted with slate blue and tortoise laminates. The Wilson M, inspired by the classically tailored look of 90s menswear, returns in vintage colorways, gold with matte beige and a brushed silver with slate grey.
GLCO will be adding wonderful new styles and colors for women as well. The Clune, a new petite optic frame, has a beautiful round shape and comes in a variety of throwback colors like champagne with a tortoise fade.
The classic Pacific sunglasses will now be offered as a fun over-sized optical frame, providing a retro look in an assortment of new hues such as black mosaic tortoise, slate blue and russet tortoise. Popular frames for men include the Clark, also offered in optical, and the Bryn Mawr, inspired by photographer Richard Avedon, with a strong square frame that complements any face shape.
The brand will also presents their third collaboration with French eyewear designer Thierry Lasry, a sunglass in four colors made for eyewear-obsessed aficionados with mirrored lenses and a colored sunglass clip. The beloved Monroe from the GLCO x Mark McNairy collaboration will also return in a champagne tortoise, brown tortoise and matte black.
With this collection GLCO balances the essence and styles of 90s minimalism with retro-inspired frames in both classic and unique colors to complete your look this season. The Fall/Holiday collection is now available online and in Garrett Leight’s La Brea (Los Angeles) and Hayes (San Francisco) retail locations, A. Kinney Court in Venice Beach, as well as other fine retailers worldwide.[/tps_header]
