Summer might be right around the corner, but for the avid outdoor enthusiast, the season is but a mere formality. Spending days on end at the beach, high-tailing it in a 60 ft. yacht and bathing in the sun are the last thing you’ll find a mountain climber or wilderness adventurer thinking about. The next and best in carrying gear, functional tools to keep the climb as smooth as possible, and of course, highly durable outdoor apparel — those are the things you’ll find on the mind of amateur to expert outdoor maniacs. As crazy as you think they may be, there’s a method to their madness, and for all intents and purposes, having the right gear on hand can be the difference between life and death.
