Un-Boxed: 4 Masculine Sents Delivered by Dr.Squatch Soap Co.

Ask the average guy what his idea of manly soap should smell like and he’ll more than likely pause for a second or two — only to give you a confused look and answer in an unassuming way: “I have know idea”. It might be the answer you were looking for, but it most certainly doesn’t mean all men don’t know. And while we aren’t experts ourselves, we do know a brand that is — the Dr.Squatch Soap Co. Considering the wide amount of so called “Manly” grooming products on the shelf these days (soaps in particular), narrowing down your options to one really good one is far more of a challenge than once thought. But in this case, we got our hands on four extremely masculine scents that scream I’m a guy and you know that for a fact.

How Its Made?

For starters, each soap is made with ingredients it would take you at least a minute to figure out how to pronounce, that said, the process Dr.Squatch uses to create their soaps is relatively simple. They use what is called a Cold Process method: Lye is mixed with water along with natural base oils and butters, then it’s allowed to cure up to 6 long weeks, and afterwards hand cut and packaged in to the minimalist designed boxes they come in.

First Impressions?

Once you receive a package of these soaps, the first thing you’ll notice is the insane (in a good way) aroma that fills the room, and if you’re in a small room, you better get used to it. And if you’re tired of using store bought air fresheners, trust us, you can replace it with just one bar and you’re good to go.

What Does It Smell Like?

Gold Moss Scrub: It’s unmistakeably made for men — made with oak moss with a hint of freshly ground cocoa and added sea salt, starting the daily routine with this scent will surely leave you fresh from head to toe.

Cool Fresh Aloe: Before you think about all the upside of Aloe itself, just know that this scent is exactly what it says it is, cool and fresh. Not overpowering in any way, its combination of Olive, Coconut, Hemp, and non-gmo Soy blend together perfectly to provide a great way to sooth dry skin.

Pine Tar: No it won’t stick to you as if you’re getting paved like a new roof, but what it will do is help exfoliate your skin due to the added ingredient of Oatmeal. And don’t let it’s black color fool you, it does the job just as well as the lighter colored scents. Not only that, if your not careful you’ll find yourself trying to make it double as cologne.

Spearmint Basil Scrub: In comparison to the previous three, it’s about as fresh as you can get. The mixture of basil with mild peppermint makes for a soap destined to for men and men only.
