West Texas Road Trip by Bexar Goods Co.
Ordinarily, I would leave a post like this one saved in draft mode so I could soak up all of my thoughts but I couldn't help myself and had to get this on the site as quickly as possible. Bexar Goods Co. had me from the beginning when we first came across the brand a few months ago. As is the case with all makers and crafters I've covered, it just doesn't get any better than knowing someone has taken the time and effort to build by hand, and that area of design is increasing by the day.
Guy, Falcon, and Christian are the family trio that make up Bexar Goods and their passion for creating is one I've always admired. And although neither myself or the rest of us haven't actually had the chance to meet them in person, we're fortunate enough to see this incredible visual presentation. It's not to often that you get to view the personal side of brand owners, what their life is like outside of their craft and the things they enjoy, but that's exactly what you get in this short film, which was very well shot by the way.
With their headquarters based in Texas, this film documents their travels throughout the western part of their home state, and as an added bonus they brought along a selection of their bags. And if you haven't seen the entire line, I really suggest stopping by and checking out the stable of goods they've got, trust me you won't be disappointed.
Connecting with viewers and costumers surely isn't the easiest thing to do and in this day and age, it's the social media scene that allows a lot brands to do that instantaneously. That's why I love the approach Bexar has taken here because it allows us to gain insight into their personalities, rather than just a simple lines of text on a monitor. So sit back and enjoy the road trip as well as the shots of the new Boeing Weekend Tote and the rest of all the assorted handmade goods.
