Known for their unique approach to street fashion encompassing a dark and sometimes Gothic aesthetic, San Francisco based Black Scale have certainly solidified their place in a market that reaches far and wide. Further defining the concept, the brand has linked up with acclaimed artist and tattooist Jun Cha for the upcoming and soon to be released “Lux Aeterna” capsule collection. Inspired by the historic artist of the classical era including Leonardo Davinchi and more specifically Michelangelo, the “Lux Aeterna” range takes cues from the tombs and burial grounds of the Popes of the time which were designed to shine a continuous ray of light shine over their tombs. In the visual below a preview of a piece from the line, a long sleeve button down, can be seen with the insignia branding consistent to the original concept brought upon by Cha. The collaborative effort will release on Sept 17th, 2011 at all Black Scale chapter locations as well as online.
